Shared Struggles – the Book:

Ann F. Schrooten, founder of The Willow Tree Foundation partnered with Dr. Barry Markovitz to write Shared Struggles – Stories From Parents and Pediatricians Caring for Children With Serious Illnesses, a complication of 46 stories from parents and pediatricians caring for medically complex children. The stories are grouped under the predominant themes that emerged from the stories – Compassion, Trust, Communication and Hope.

Shared Struggles – the Documentary:

We are very excited to announce that we have produced a documentary as an extension of the book. In the Shared Struggles Documentary you will hear from three of the parents and three of the physicians who wrote stories for the book. We are currently looking for a distributor for the documentary and will provide an update once it is available for viewing by the general public.
