Shared Struggles – the Documentary:
We are currently raising the funds to create a documentary to compliment the book. In the documentary you will hear from the parents of children who live with chronic complex medical conditions and the physicians who care for this unique and growing population of children. The parents will share what life is like caring for a medically complex child and what they want the medical professionals who care for their child to know about them and their child and what they need from them in the care of their child. The physicians will share their background and experience in caring for medically complex children, how caring for these children have impacted and changed them, and what they want young physicians in training and their colleagues to know when it comes to caring for these patients and their families.
If you would like to support the production of the Shared Struggles documentary, tax deductible donations can be made through The Willow Tree Foundation by PayPal or by check. Donation information here http://willowtreefoundation.org/contribute/. Please designate your donation: “For Shared Struggles Documentary”.
We need to raise $30,000 for the documentary, which covers the actual costs of production. All individuals who donate to the documentary will be listed at the end of the film (unless you wish to remain anonymous.) We truly appreciate all donations that will help us bring Shared Struggles- the documentary to the screen. Once we’ve raised the funds we need, we will take down the link for donations.
Thank you very much.
